Hey guys, sorry for the delayed responses. Busy time of the year with kids and wife going back to school, FT plans in the works, trying to get some end of the year flying in, and all the little things life throws in there too. I have been flying my prototype a few more times since Flite Fest and want to get some more stick time in on it iron out any flight issues. So far, happy to report that there aren't really any bad tendencies with it. I even threw the Mobius on it and flew it FPV. I think the larger one will make a super stable FPV platform.
That said, the Intruder has been somewhat on the back burner as far as development goes. The plans that we built the prototypes from are very rough and incomplete right now. Since I decided to scale it down to be exactly 1:8 scale, I've also decided that I'm going to start the plans over from scratch. There is a lot of extra internal structure that needs to be added to add to the durability of this plane, and also accommodate for things like a cargo bay, FPV bay, bomb drop, floats, removable/replaceable nose, a possible EDF version, etc. These are all just ideas at this point, but something I want to plan for with this design. We're really excited at the potential that this aircraft has, and we really want to do it right. It's going to be months, not weeks, before it's ready for release. I'm not going to make any promises on how soon that will be, as this isn't a full-time job for me. More importantly, I want to make sure it's done right.
Thanks for your patience.
