I purchased a FliteTest Simple Stick, and created a replacement fuselage to convert the standard wing, stabilizer, and fin into an eyecatching kitbash. 70mm EDF from a 4S Habu STS unit, 70amp ESC, and 2200amp 4S battery. I think a 64mm unit with smaller ESC would be better. Cut down the front canard width by 2", and add a strong spar to the wing. I used two 6mm CF square tubes x 12" long (or rather, added later). When planning out how to add the rudder and fin atop the wing, make narrow indexing tabs on fin profile to pass thru the top wing skin thru small slits, to maintain wing strength, and secure fin to bottom of wing too. This thing is fast and very agile, but slows down to a safe stall (front canard just mushes down before main wing stalls) for soft zero-distance landings.
