Photo documentation with inch grid reference for reproduction. No digital plans, a design-as-I-go build inspired by a DeviantArt photoshop and fictional backstory of a missing link between the Mustang and the Bronco. More like a marriage between a P-38 and a P-51 to me. Builder should have at least some experience with Master Series Building techniques. Standard dyhedral angles halved, but there are two joints, so result is same. Clipped each wing tip 4", new 18" wide center wing section with 12.5" cord, RX and flap servo embedded in wing, nothing at all inside rubber band secured center pod. Medicine bottle finger holes for effortless hand lauching. You need to adjust inboard wing cutouts (by lowering) in the main fuselages (each is now non-symetric), so that fins stand up straight and parallel. Added a final trim cone not included with kits to clean up transition to big spinner. Double-thick stabilizer like MS P-38. Fantastic flyer, lots of wing area, slows to a crawl with flaps, great presence in the air, and toss-able. Not as fast as similarly sized and equal weight Master Series P-38 with equal powertrains, due to increased skin and wing area. Same CG as P-51 kit. I used C-pack motors with two 2200 3S batteries. Obvious power upgrade potential. One of my favorite flyers!
