20A ESC in stead of 12A ESC?

A higher amp rating is ok. If you needed a 20 and used a 12A that would be a problem but not the other way around.

The only other thing is make sure you order the correct S rating (the voltage rating of the ESC)

I'd recheck your balance and make adjustments to bring the CG back to center -- the 20A ESC likely weights more than it's 12A neighbors . . .

. . . but yeah. should work.

The only thing I would be concerned with is that it is preferred to have 4 identical esc's on a quad, so that they respond to inputs the same way. But this being the same manufacturer, I don't think it should be an issue. Just make sure that you recalibrate the esc's after installing it.
