EDIT: Link only test video I did 30P 1/100: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwM6LmBGcCQ
Hi everyone,
I'm soon to be starting filming videos for my channel and want your opinion on frame rates for filming RC planes
For the first private test videos I've done it's been at 24p with a shutter speed of 1/50 (not 1/48 as it causes problems with 50 Hz lighting in the UK). This is supposed to create a very film like image and so far from the tests I love the image for face to face shots but for filming planes it seems too stuttery:

I've done some more test shots at 30p that I haven't uploaded and it definitely loses the cinematic feel, but for filming planes (especially with a higher shutter speed and at f16 so it's easy to focus) it looks more pleasant (to me at least )
I'm just wondering what you guys are using? Because I'm gonna be mixing in flight and ground footage it's really one or the other I'll be using Canon C100 for ground and GoPro Hero 3 Black or Mobius for the air
Thanks for the help!
Kind regards,
Francis
