Battery for e-flite apprentice

Hey guys, crashed my plane in the snow and the battery became puffy and no longer usable....curious if there is a cheaper alternative to e-flites $50 replacment. One with the same specs, just maybe for a more resonable price.
also let me know if $50 is a resonable price (still pretty new to the hobby)

Hobbyking is the best cost. Match the "S" or voltage and the mah number and you should be OK

I saw the original spec on one site: 3S 3200mAh 20C

Turnigy 3300mAh 3S 20C Lipo Pack at Hobby King is less than $22

I would get two at less than the cost of direct replacement so you can fly longer.

mAh does not have to be the same

I fly mine with a (Hacker) 3S 3900mAh with no issues on weight/balance, just extra flight time!

If you're in the US, as a faster and more reliable alternative to HK, I would recommend Headsuphobby.com or valuehobby.com. They will be more reliable and faster than the other option mentioned. It also may look to be cheaper to order from HK to begin with, but when you incorporate in the 40% shipping, it might just be a wash.

Weigh your options.
