Best settings for aerial photography?

Hey all!

I've recently finished (and test flown) my FliteTest inspired tricopter (built stock w/ the KK2, bell out runners + HK 20a ESCs), and now want to get it optimised for some aerial photography.

I'm using my own design of a camera mount, basically a modified helmet mount w/ ground adjustable pitch, and there doesn't seem to be much of an issue with vibration. However, even when I'm flying smoothly, the video is sort of "jerky", not smooth at all.

Are there any recommended settings on the KK2 to smooth things out, or should I just go for some expo in the TX? Any other tips in general for making the most of a non-gimbaled setup?

I'll see if I can throw some pics in of my setup tomorrow afternoon some time.

Try filming at 60 frames per second if you can. That may help with some of the jerkiness. Not sure about the kk2 board, but expo can help calm down the movements and make it seem smoother.
