Black Hawk - No, it's not a helicopter it's a hawk

This is a DTFB version of Skynetic Bald Eagle downsized to 80% which lets you get a complete wing on one sheet of FB. It flies very scale . Nice relaxing flier that will still do loops and rolls. A relatively quick build after the cutting is done. If you have a needle cutter message me and I'll get you the SVGs set up for cutting.
Here's the build -

You need:
3 sheets FB
4 9g servos
4 control horns
B pack motor & ESC
9x4 or so prop
swappable firewall or equivalent
1300 3s battery...

Can you fly this if there actual hawks or other large birds lingering about?

I know red tails hate monokote chrome.

I've flown it with hawks and vultures. The only interest it's gotten is from the little birds that try to chase the big ones off.

Went out this morning and got some video of the Hawk trimmed and flying properly.

I built one of these this week and it came out great. I flew it this afternoon but I had very little if any response from the moveable surfaces. Does this "bird" need extra travel? I've never flown a v-tail before but i just looked up the proper set up and my surfaces are moving in the right direction. Do i just make them move farther? thanks.

You want a lot of aileron and not as much on the V tail. Did you set it up using the holes in the control arms and horns like I showed in the pictures? I can measure the throws for you if that would help.
