Clear Canopy DIY

How do you all make the clear canopies for the DTFB planes. I am working on my F6F and I have a DTFB canopy, and I also bent one up out of some gladware I hacked up.

How do you make these and make them look nice? Also I am interested in making it removable. Any Ideas?

look up DIY vacume forming,
basicly, make a plug, heat a sheat of plastic, pull hot sheet down over the plug

+1 on vacuum forming.
Some use plastic bottles to make canopies. Myself I don’t think they are worth the effort.

Looks good enough to me! At least it’s better than anything I could do!
