it might not be the knife. I think you got a bad batch of foam board. next time if you get this kind of problem before you bend the foamboard put some packing tape on the outside of the wing and your wing will not come apart on the front. if you ever get FB that is kind of mushy grab a piece of coarse sandpaper and make the knife blade kind of jagged this will cut the paper on top cut nicely. have fun.

I was starting to think that too. I think it’s cause he’s using Walmart fb.

yes its the Walmart foamboard and I did put a piece of packing tape along the leading edge. It's also jagged because its 2 separate pieces as I didn't have a plan and just winged it (damnit).

Yeah, I have had two orders from SpeedyFPV that get delayed for like 4 days.....Not speedyfpv's fault but its kinda annoying! I wonder if that's why Flite Test uses UPS

Alright it came and I put the battery in and it made a lot of thrust. I took it out and went crazy with my markers and now it’s orange. I didn’t color the wings other than a stripe near the root and the wingtips because it would use a lot of the marker. I can’t maiden it today because it’s still windy and it’s too late but hopefully tomorrow will be clear.

Alright I'm taking it out today but there might not be a good spot to fly it. Good chance it'll fly today though. It definitely will stay in the air but the question is whether or not it's controllable and how long will it stay up. I'm gonna hand launch it at first because I'm worried about prop strike but if it flies I'll do an actually takeoff and landing. My dad is gonna record it so hopefully he doesn't screw up. The plane being orange probably will help with finding it against the sky.

First try it sorta flew but I couldn’t get on the stick fast enough. Second try my dad threw it into the ground. We went home for some repairs and we’re headed back out again.

If it wasn’t clear, it didn’t end well… it wanted to take off but it kept rolling over and at that point, it’s gone. My dad recorded a highlight reel instead of a full video but I’ll stitch it together and upload it later. I think I’m gonna harvest the electronics and make a new one using my plans so it’s perfectly symmetrical and square and see how that goes. For now, imma take a nap I think.
