Deleting planes and airports from the real flight simulator program.

Picked up a few new planes and airports from the Knife Edge site today. Some are working and some do not. Does anyone know how to delete plane/airport files that were downloaded or came with the origanal program? I am running the 5.5 version program. Thanx

I've never tried to delete planes or airports. I'm out of town on work this week but if there's no answer, I can look into it when I get home this weekend.

Don't know how 5.5 does it but 7 is...'simulation/manage user files' then this dialog window.

Imported planes are deletable but program default planes seem not to be.

Yes. You cannot delete RF default files. Reason being there are specific files that have components that are used for other aircraft. Examples are props, engine sound, engine profiles etc. This goes for airfields as well. There are 3D objects saved that are not just for 3D fields. They are used as "depth buffers" for photofields as well.
