Help! DJI O3 Air Unit without FC

I just got DJI Goggles v2 and the O3 air unit for Christmas. I want to put it on my Simple Scout and Viper 70mm. I am new to fpv so I have no idea if I can power it without a flight controller. If I can do it without a flight controller, how would I go about doing that?
