Any of you ever taken an edf and convert the edf to a turbo jet? How long does it last? What was involved? I kinda want to do this with one of the master series jets for the spound and to see if I can get it to go really fast...

I imagine the edf will need to be far enough forward so it doesn't melt and send the whole thing down in flames. The expansion chamber will need plenty of insulation to protect the foam board... maybe I could even convert a flerkin... wouldn't that be wild? A Flerkin with an edf jet or edf with after burn.
