All parts are designed for 4mm board (Readi-Board from dollar Tree, Flite Test Water Proof Board). Most of the paper will be removed, but some will stay in key areas for extra strength/rigidity. If you have a method you prefer to use, please do so.

There are 3 files, you will need the brace with either way you want to make the fuselage.

1. Cut out all your parts as per plans


2. Laminate one side of KF step wing and fuselage floor pieces. Flip over and cut in the bracing. Glue on the remaining wing and fuselage parts. I removed all the paper from these parts except on the control surfaces. I cut the paper at the CF braceline and followed the trailing edge of the KF step, leaving a 1/2" overlap of foam over the paper.


3. Round the leading edges of the wings. I use a small piece of 1/2" PVC pipe cut in half with some sand paper glued in to do this, makes a nice round edge.


4. Glue on the nose brace parts.


5. There are 2 options for the fuselage. The first is using the 3 parts on the main plans, the second is to use the alternate fuselage that lets you keep paper on the outside of the fuselage, making for a stronger body.

Both options have marks for where to cut the hatches out. Use a small pin to poke holes into the foam and trace out the lines for the hatches.


6. Laminate the main center tail parts between the side pieces. If doing ruder's, cut the extra opening for the servos out and cut the rudder itself. I left the paper on the center tail section for making a paper hinge and extra rigidity.


7. Once the glue has dried on the fuselage, glue in the bottom section of the nose. I left paper on to help protect the foam during landings.


8. Cut out the hatches you previously marked out on the fuselage parts. It is best to do this before installing the tails. I used small tabs of cardboard at the front and magnets at the rear of each hatch. The rear hatch I put the magnets on the sides, leaving the rear open to have a slot cut out for the motor wires.


9. Slide your servos into the openings on the tails and install the tials.


10. Glue on the canards to the sides of the fuselage. you want these to set perpendicular to the side of the fuselage itself. Use a small scrap of foam to lift the bottom edge up off the main wing while gluing.


11. using a foam drill (small pipe) drill some holes for your servo wires to run into the fuselage. Also, glue in the cardboard brace into the fuselage. you may need to twist it a bit to slide it in.


12. If using the motor mount on the plans, Simply cut out the parts and assemble as shown here. I used a 1 1/2" hole saw to cut the main mount plate from 1/8" ABS plastic.


Center of gravity is located at the front of the tails.
