F15e - 2207 motor, 64-70mm edf

this is my f15 that i designed for a 64mm edf or a 2207 motor (if using a 2205 id recommend scaling it down a little). this plane flew amazing. with the setup that i had (4s lipo, 40amp esc, 2207 2750kv motor) it was amazing at slow speed and just floated on the air, and still had a decent bit of speed to it, but, at this size it is by no means supposed to be a speedy flier, if you want speed, scale it down. could you post some extra photos of the build? I'm curious how mounting an EDF would look and if its possible to mount one internally. i was even thinking if i tried it and theres internal space I could use 2 30-40mm EDF's. also if you wouldn't mind, if there's the air intakes, could you measure them in mm? Thanks I'd love to build this, especially since the F15 is my favorite jet!

Sorry, I don't have one built at the moment...For mounting an edf a single 64mm edf only stuck out a little on top and bottom, but it lost a lot of thrust because of the way it was mounted. The intakes are approximately 37.3mm x 50mm, however because of the way I designed it and the way the real F15 is, the exhausts are larger at 45.8mm x 50mm. So I think twin 40mm edfs would work fine farther in the rear of the plane. And if you need to you can always add some cheater holes. I don't know what 30mm edfs you would use but I doubt they would have enough thrust for a plane of this size. The other way you could mount an edf would be on the back (see picture of the MiG), which would be far more visible, but if you plan to paint the plane or cover the edf with a piece of paper/foam it will be less so.
