New Moon 150% 70mm EDF - New Moon 150% Scale

This is a conversion of the original New Moon created by Terry Dunn, 2011, scaled up 150% to fit the 70mm EDF. I tested this with a 6S 4000mAh battery.

These plans are extremely BETA!!! I have made adjustments, and added features such as landing gear, which have not been tested yet.

The plans should build cleanly without too much tweaking required. Once I build and maiden this release, I will update this page.

Maiden flight was done with 20mph wind, and it flew solid.

Moved the aileron servos forward to improve the angle of the pushrod wires.

Hello, How much does the plane weigh in flying order?

I will have to get that info in a bit. in the meantime, I am waiting on V2 of the plans to get approved.there are some minor tweaks.

You can probably just use Adobe Acrobat and adjust the plans while building it

even the original @ 30 inch span is approximately 598g. I am afraid that this design has little to no chance of achieving the s250 mark. best of luck!
