A bit unusual but the plane that surprised me most was a scale EDF V1 "Buzz Bomb". A simple but surprisingly efficient airframe it flew beautifully and could even do some very non scale aerobatics. A silent glide approach and landing was almost scale too!

V1 Rocket modelled from drawings attached. This is one of the first models I ever designed. Would strongly recommend splitting down the middle, at 90 deg to the wings then glue the two halves together. Will update model once I get round to it (2020_08_11). Enjoy :)

It had ailerons which of course the original did not.
For visibility it was decorated as a "test" Republic JB2 which was an exact copy of the V-1. Put into production before the war's end it was cancelled and only ever used for test purposes.
