I am brand new to foamboard building....ordered the entire kit and Kaboodle (Crafty kit, power package, speed build, etc etc). I built mine step by step fold by fold thanks to Josh's very indepth and immaculate build video. I would have been lost without that video. The crafty kit glue gun and glue sticks worked perfect for me. I chose the 4s power option.

I found and copied a differential thrust set up for Spektrum radio (Receiver and Transmitter) and had it perfected on a test bench set up well before I received my kit. Here is that video link:https://youtu.be/rCBoNG7CJgw

During my build I decided to deploy a switchable LED kit that works perfectly in my plane....very fun!!

My Sea Duck final result is fantastic!!! It flies on rails and is just about as close to a 3D acrobat as you can get with a twin motor airframe. I put about 20flights on mine from our club grass field before moving on to full water operations. Flying off the water is a real hoot and very beautiful experience. The Sea Duck is in my opinion the best set up for water operations due to the very large gondola pod and the two outrigger pontoons....the floating stance and take off are absolutely spot on.....this airframe is truly a joy to fly from grass and water. This is one airframe any and all pilots will enjoy.

I did find just a very small amount of water on the inside of my airframe....easily removed with a suction syringe and some fish tank tubing to reach the back corner of the interior gondola:

Since then I have plugged up both gaps present from the build at the rearward underside of the main wing and top rearward section of the gondola. Just cut a small slender triangle of foamboard and fill in with hot glue.....almost no water gets into my aiframe now.

Here is one of many water flights I have recorded on this super performing and excellent looking airframe!!

That's absolutely fantastic pal. Great looking build! Hopefully mine will come out that good, but I have a way to go yet before I'd trust myself not to crash it :applause:
