If the motor and ESC don't have connectors on the ends you need the bullet connectors.

so this has the potential to be a pain, but since i'll only have 1 motor and 1 esc, i was gonna just solder the leads together if there aren't bullet connectors on either. as for the battery to esc... i'll have to see

i have soldering equipment, hot glue, gorilla glue(which may be my primary glue, since my hot glue gun is a low-temp one) and things for working with foam.

here are links to the parts i'm not totally sure on:

^^^ You need to see what connector is on the battery. You will need the mate to that then. And you need to make sure the motor is rotating the proper direction before you solder the ESC to it. Not the way I would do it. I would find components that already have the correct connectors on them or buy the connectors and solder them on.

One other thing to consider is shipping on a couple pieces might eat up your savings getting it all through Amazon but from different 'sellers'. I might suggest still looking for the radio and charger through Amazon, but check into http://headsuphobby.com for the other components - I've had nothing but excellent service from them, and lightning fast shipping. Many of their escs and motors already come with appropriate connectors, so with a little double checking on the specs you can get everything ready to plug in and go. And they have a very low flat rate shipping for almost everything.

Not an employee or owner - just a big fan. :)

thanks for the heads up! my mother-in-law's amazon prime account helps avoid shipping when shopping from there, but i'll definitely check out headsuphobby!
