Hi everyone,

I thought I'd share the few photos I took over the weekend. I know some of you were desperate for info and photos, but please understand there was constant flying activity every day. At least now, I think we'll start to see a flood of photos and videos. I can't wait for the official Flite Test video too!

Special thanks to Carl (wilmracer) for letting me hang out at his camping spot the duration of my stay at FF16. It was great to meet the Flite Test crew to thank them for everything they've done (and to David for designing the FT Spitfire!), and great to meet all the forum users as well.

Right after I arrived, and walking around to scope the place out. This view is from the far right end of the flightline, looking east to west.

Some tent setups along the flightline.

Lots of tents and campers.

Peter's giant plane was kept in the Build Series tent, and came out to make cargo drops at least once a day.

Beginning of vendor row, looking east to west. Lots of good deals to be had! The large three-pointed tent was the official Flite Test store.

West to east view of the same location as above. You can see the spectator stands at show center, with the Build Series tent behind. The two tents on the right are the Volunteer Tent and the Family Tent. Just off screen to the right were the concession stands.

Loading the cargo plane for another drop!

A random view of Build Tent 3, to give you an idea of how much was going on and being built. This is only a small portion of the tent!

My humble little piece of real estate. Not shown are the AnyCopter quad and two Simple Soarers still in the car.

One of several combat events about to begin. Huge crowds every time, and always spectacular midairs. I wouldn't be surprised if the old World-Record for most RC planes in the sky was unofficially broken each time combat sessions began.

Flappy dudes flapping all weekend long! This was right after the Baby Baron Gotha Gaggle; you can see some baby Brits and Barons after the combat.

Again after the Gaggle. The Gotha is safely back home, and the pilots are all taking their turns signing the poster.

Quick snap of the poster.

Hope you enjoyed the photos, and that they give those who were unable to attend an idea of what it was like. :)

Also, some Google searches yielded local news reports of the event, with more photos:

Nice pictures! I'm just now getting caught back up on all the good stuff I missed last week!

Mind if I use one or two if the shots for the NVRC newsletter? I'm behind a few days getting it out and need to get it wrapped up :)
