Hi Flying Squirrel!

The transmitter and receiver should be okay. The camera is likely not going to work. Most of the toy grade quadcoptors have a DVR of sorts... they use the yellow wire as a trigger to start recording and take a picture. You need an actual feed camera.

Quick question about your display... will it run on 12 volts? When it loses signal does it come up with a blue screen? The reason I ask is you don't want to by flying around, get some static, and lose all of your picture to a blue screen. Plus the rest of your gear is going to run on 12V (3S battery) so your display needs to also to make it easy. You want a screen that will display the static because you can typically still get some picture though the static and when you do get signal back it is instantaneous. Typically found with FPV specific equipment but sometimes can be found around by doing a lot of research.

If you want to get a system that will just work and are on a tight budget maybe check out this...It is maybe $20ish more but it will come out of the box working and it has circular polarized antennas (major upgrade from linear!)

or if you want a screen too you can get the same thing with a screen and DIY goggle kit for about $30 more...

I hope this helps you!

P.S. if you want to order something from hobby king and aren't a gold or platinum member sit on the page for a couple minutes. Sometimes a small window on the lower right screen will pop up offering you a "one time deal" so you could get your stuff cheaper!

^ what razor said. Moreover, the hobbyking combo has a better transmitter too; the boscam you linked is a pretty old design, only 8 channels and its really picky about which channel you use. And that DVD player you already own, almost certainly does blue screen, and is therefore a no-go. Those quanum goggles are a very good alternative, cheap as chips and good enough.
