Yes I have flown full scale but I thought the podcast was all about rc?
No full scale discussion or interviews please.

Flite Test is a community of people who love flight. This includes everything from foam planes, to the Goodyear Blimp. Considering that the Afterhours podcast is an extension of that, it only makes sense that they'll discuss full scale aircraft as well.

FT is all about entertaining, educating, and elevating the world of FLIGHT! It's never been just about RC, even though that is the main focus.

Full scale is a dream many of us on the forum have, my self included. As an extension of this, lots of times FT delves into full scale stuff.

I've been to the Aerodrome in Rhinebeck. I'd love to see FT try a Delsey Drop!
The earliest models look more like balsa scratch builds - amazing.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

It goes back to the barnstorming days (traveling airshows). You throw a single roll of Delsey TP out of the plane and see how many times you can cut it on the way down.

I am personally a fan of the mix of full scale and model. It is nice to have a blend and see different things.

Hey, if it flys, I want to hear about it!

The more excited the crew gets about what they are talking about, the more I like to listen!
I say bring it on!

I too am a Full-Scale pilot, an A&P Mechanic, an RCer since 81 but before all that I first flew Estes rockets and CONTROL LINE COX 0.49 MODELS. If FT is soooo diverse how about some episodes on what we did before DTFB and cheap china crap! IMHO of course.

I'd love to see more on this as well. Have you ever considered writing an article about your experiences? Do you have any old photos that you could scan and include in the article?

It cracks me up when people call real, manned planes "full scale". Models are judged by scale. The real thing is the real thing
