Help! FT Explorer fuselage and nose attachment

I have a scratch built FT Explorer completed and am wondering- how does the fuselage attach to the tail boom, and the nose attach to the fuselage? Are they just friction fit or do they need to be held in place some other way?

Since most of the loads make the fit tighter, they are tight slip fit, but the forces aren't too strong to seperate it usually. Crashes do tend to loosen the joint

You could add a layer of tape to one side to get it tighter or the infamous BBQ skewer poked through both pieces, OR (shudder) a bit of glue. I liked being able to disassemble and put the plane in my scoot boot on the Electraglide.

Thanks. I thought it might be compression fit, but wasn't sure.

From what I recall, there was a mention in the written instructions but it wasnt a specific, more like an afterthought after a batch of crash loosening incidents. Been a while since I read the instructions on anything
