In an effort to make it easier to find all of the available free plans, we are going to be adding them to the Resources section right here on the forums. This is going to take some time, as I am doing them when I have available time to do so. Your patience and grace is much appreciated in the meantime. The end result will be a one-stop-shop for all of the free Flite Test plans.

I have got the old power pack b motor - 2213 935kv motor. Should that be okay for FT Flyer or should I print plans at 125%?

Asking this from a very first time flyer perspective.

I made 2 times the size of FT Flyer. But the wing is too flappy and maybe weak now due to no airfoil. With more drag, the middle wing joint may tend to wear out. How do I resolve it?

Bbq skewers or carbon fiber rods to provide structure to the wing.

I usually just break a popsicle stick/tongue depressor and glue it with CA to maintain strength at the angle then glue to the FB.
There are probably better way, but it’s worked for me.

I will make something like this where blue is carbon fibre span and red is fuselage, while, the amber ones bamboo skewers.

If you scaled it all up 200%, I would just double up the foam board on the wings. That should be plenty stiff. With that much wing area, the weight should be fine.

The wing is now very stiff - Sorta Flying Tile. :devilish:.
But the tail assembly I feel is weak and can twist. Any ideas on strengthening the tail boom and surfaces?
