FT Simple Stick Thrust Angle

Finished the build on my FT Simple Stick but have not yet put her up in the air. I'm concerned that I have noticeable up-thrust on the motor. Is this normal for the Stick? I've built the Cub and the Tutor and they came out neutral with regards to thrust angle. Thanks.

You do have way to much upthrust. You should have zero upthrust and one or two degrees down AND right thrust. Put some small washers behind the motor or turn the power pod upside down.

Thanks, I thought so. Now I just have to find or make some small washers and perhaps find a bit longer wood screw.

Go to your Ace or True Value hardware store and buy the washers and the screws. Look for some plastic washers.
