FT Swappable Landing Gear

My first scratch built was the Flyer and last weekend I also built a Versa Wing. The problem I've had with both of them is the landing gear, it just folds under when I touchdown. I made the landing gear as specified by Mr. Bixler in swappable power pod video. I don't know if I need tighter rubber bands or if anyone has a better way of doing landing gear on the swappable power pod all together.

What kind of wire are you using for your landing gear? I would recommend at the very least to use hanger wire.

Is the wire bending or the rubber bands giving. If your issue is the latter, then add a few more rubber bands and it should stiffen its self up. Other wise you may need heavier gauge wire.

It's the rubber band that's giving. I'll try adding more.
