This plane really got me into flying. I saw the FT-Viggen episode this spring and since I'm a swede I just HAD TO build one of our flagships! Ordered the kit from FT and the Grayson Hobby powerpackage and this is the result:

It flies so beautiful I'm am seriously amazed everytime I take it out for another tour, and the silhouette against the sky is just spot on like the real thing. Totally love it.

In this video my friend records with his iPhone but you can notice at the start that I'm trying out a Mobius Actioncamera on the nose for the first time to get some HD quality footage from the air aswell. That video will be uploaded soon aswell!

Hi again! I'll keep updating my posts here with my progress with the Viggen. yesterday I decided to remove the paper from the foaboard, since it kept bubble up abit as it got a little moist. I found that the foam underneath was abit soggy and unstable as the paper was removed, so I covered it with duct tape. I taped stripes vertically on the top of the wing, and horisontally under the wing thinking that would give it some stability. When the project was done it did still feel a little "bendy" but I took it for an evening test together with my girlfriend and well, it flew just great with the modded wing.

Im thinking of doing some total rework in the plane since I am having so much fun flying and I want it to last forever ;) So maybe rebuilding it totally in depron or epp. Anyone got any good suggestions? The dollartree foam is an awesome starter, but as my interest and need to build stuf grows I might aswell do the hotwire version of it some day soon.
