It looks like the one they had a Flite Fest had an ESC labeled power pack M and a motor larger than the C pack, so that’s interesting. Hopefully the larger size and motor makes it fly lighter than the original Ft3D

Whelp, the kits out now. Still no plans as far as I’m aware.

Okay, I'm going to order one right away as this is the plane I've been looking for.
Question though, would a 60 sized 6s be too too much? If so I'll build it to spec and start working on a XXL version. I haven't scaled anything yet but there is a first for everything.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. The hinges would need reinforcement.
