OK. so, um... I kinda goofed and started this. because I wanted to see how it came together only to realize... it was easy.
Dec 18 near Xmas 2021 Cut out to get ahead. (how hard are these cuts anyway)
Jan 15th - I wanted to see how sturdy the wings would be... and then the fuse was... just a step away.
Jan 17th - do the assembly methods I want to use, work? (yes Mostly)
2 weak points
1. The stress on the pins holding the wings to the fuse are never gonna hold in the wing. However, plastic reinforced holes are a different animal. The pieces need to be big enough to distribute the load from the joiner pins/clips
2. The first rib... So I need to cut out 4 and replace and double each rib 1. so the fuse pins will be solid!
Next steps are, skin and lights.
At this point, I have 3 options: recut, do the balsa, do another plane.

This project looks complete but, there is still about 50% to go. (LED, Servos, leading and trailing edge treatments and Cover film application.)
as the saying goes - 75% complete, 90% to go. So I will continue with this entry. (I may redo a wing though.

Here is the prep on the plastic bags.
February 9th
I worked on deconstructing the One Wing to open it up to be able to add LEDs in both sides and to make them more even. I'm not sure which exact LEDs I want to use I have blue and white and I have those rgb non-addressable multicolor on with the remote I'm not sure if there's a way to set that on the pwm on a knob and just rotate the knob until you get what you like. if so, that's what I'd like to do.
February 27th
I don't understand how 3 weeks passed and I got nearly Nothing done on the plane but I did succeed in getting half of the lighting completed. I'm hoping to be able to finish the second half so I can button up the wings and give it a try
March 5th, 6th & 8th.
Ready for covering
Getting the covering stay glued
I added a trailing edge from poster board. And a leading edge from another campfire skewer.
Lights are installed, soldering done, wing closed. Does it light up?
