Hi everybody
been reading/watching/envying all your posts (vids, pics, posts....) for a while until I decide to jump in.
So here I am, a frenchy based in Switzerland. I use to RC fly when i was a kid and after a long (long long) parenthesis I am back!
Used some spare time during confinement (not much unfortunately) to do my 1st ever foam board build and tata! here it is: a P51-D, equipped, balanced, ready to fly. Maiden fly planned for tonight, but being without family, flying and taking pictures for a 1st fly looks too dangerous and difficult to me...
Below a couple of pics (pre 1st flight and pre final painting)...
Lessons learnt from this 1st built:
- too heavy on the glue!!!
- way too impatient to see her flight leading to multiple minor mistakes
- the P51 is just a start!
