Google Maps flying sites

I thought this would be kind of fun. What do your flying sites look like on Google Maps? This is mine. It's pretty green this time of year. I live in a town of 6000, with the neighboring area being 12000. I don't think I've ever seen baseball or soccer played here, but they might do that in the evenings.

Wow so much attention to facilities for a town of 6000. Very cool.

I have multiple sites:

#2 (more often) my friend's house

#3 my school

This has been my best go-to spot so far.

Between those ball fields there's quite a lot of space to work with.

But I'm moving. I hope I can get away with this, but bummer it's right on the Hudson River so it's likely more breezy. It's only a couple blocks from my new home.

I'm sure there will be times when the wind dies down enough to get out there. I lived in Wyoming for a while, and had to learn to fly in the wind. But, that was with bigger/heavier RC planes.

That's an awful lot of houses. :D

And this is a less-populated part of town!

Our flying site is in a county park and we have a 10 year lease with the county. We support rockets, control line as well as RC. Other areas in the park are available for other activities but only permit holders are allowed in the various flying areas for safety purposes. We do have to chase off a few teams during the season but it's part of the charm.

I've always been interested in control line, but never been near a place setup for it.
