Newbie here, just learning to fly my RC plane. Looking for areas near Castle Rock to be able to fly and practice. Anyone know of any?

Welcome to the forum forbegos! I don't know of any club fields but you can go to this site http://www.modelaircraft.org/clubsearch.aspx and use the search directory to find some club fields in your area.

The issue is that the airfield is a long way from my house and I see so much open space in Castle Rock... however I asked the town and was denied. And anyway, I am a newbie so flying in the field is not recommended. Been in this hobby for 3 months now and flown only once! Same issue with my drone... can't fly it anywhere... what's the point!

Sorry man. Colorado really went off the rails in the last year or so.

Yep... with so many open space all over the place, they've gone nuts. I am thinking about moving on and getting into R/C cars instead!
