Help! Motor repair

Hello! I have a question about making a repair to a contra-rotating motor. I was attempting to adjust the polarity of one of the motors by adjusting the leads when one of them broke. Is there any way I can possibly repair this? Thank you in advance

Remove the heat shrink tube on the plug, then solder the wire to the plug, and be sure to cover any exposed metal/wire with heat shrink tube.

Flux is the key. Solder will never flow on dirt. No matter how hot you get it.

It gets complicated if you don't know the problem is from Flux.
