To lift a payload the prime factor in the wing (and the rest of the structure for that matter) is not its section but its construction. Every gram of unnecessary weight eats into the payload.
It is likely that the requirements of its structure may dictate the wing section to be used. Fortunately what is good for strength to weight, a deep spar, also tends to suit a high lift wing section.
It is worth remembering that at 1 m span the fine details of the wing section are not nearly so critical as for full size. Air behaves rather differently at small sizes.
