How to apply skins?

So, I'm scratch building the FT Simple Cub and want to use the wonderful skins that are available here. The only other times I used graphic skins, I removed the paper layer and applied the printed paper using spray glue. I printed this time on sticky back vinyl. The foamboard curls up, when the paper is removed. How to correct this? Thx.

What i did for my P-40 is paint the paper with Elmer's craft glue and then stir the skins right on the foam board with out removing the paper.

The two solutions I've found for the foam board curling are removing the paper from both sides and then leaving the inside bare or removing the paper from both sides and reapplying paper with spray glue (super 77) on the inside if I want the strength. My current simple cub I left the inside bare and haven't seen any strength issues.
