I have a problem with my nearly 6month old dx6i help!

Hi all, I purchased a spektrum dx6i from a dealer that is authorized(not sure which one it was) but I have had my spektrum dx6i for about 6months now, and while I was flying, in the throttle stick pot, I felt this binding, like a spring popped out or something, it went away, but now there is this minor binding on the up and down movement of the throttle. I am not sure if it is affecting any of the throttle sensitivity or progressiveness, but it scared me as these transmitters have a "no repair" design where you basically throw it away once a vital part is broken. I don't know if this is an issue, or it can be left alone.

Spektrum radios are not throw always like others and spektrum will fix it under their warranty.
