Kombini Camera Connection Question

My FPV camera does not appear to be working. I attached my RunCam to the Kombini board pads as in the picture below. The solder short is on the 12V side, but my camera voltage (suppose to be between 5 and 17 volts) runs at a consistant 4.93 VDC. Shouldn't it be showing 12ish volts?

Another question, does the camera need to be connected to those pads? Can they be hooked up else-ware?

Thanks,

Jack

As the pads indicate, the + and -gnd are for the VTx. The camera power can be grabbed from one of the first two pinouts on the left side of the board. They're 5v. The solder bridge that you indicate should be causing that VTx+ pad to have an output of ~12v.

Thanks. I may try wiring directly to the pins you indicated. I have since determined that the camera gets its power from the VTX device. The power is currently a little low, perhaps I can get the right voltage from the Kombini board.

I can't remember if if the Kombini power is filtered, but I actually power my cam from my VTx because it puts out a filtered 5v source to reduce noise.
