In the beginning of the build video for the spitfire they say to use the motor for the baby blender, the one they call the "beef" but if you look under the recommended electronics for the baby blender it says this one http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=26820&aff=247441 or this one http://www.altitudehobbies.com/brus...rushless-motor-370-28-26-1450kv-suppo-2208-14
These are the same two motors listed under recommended electronics for the spitfire. The "beef" is listed under other swappables and it's this one http://www.lazertoyz.com/GT221509-70g_p_25.html so what's the deal which one should I be using?I do have the suppo.

I've been using the 36g 1450kv Suppo in the spitfire and it tools along great. The 70g would work, it might be short flight but it would rip! I think it's all a balancing act. I've been getting around 9-10 mins with the 1450kv and a 3S 2200.

I concur with Flynn, I like the 2208 Suppo in the Spit. It may not have endless vertical, but it is definitely not underpowered. It cruises great with an 8x4 at half throttle and zooms by at full. You can't beat the efficiency either, you can fly forever on a 2200.

I'll chime in! I use the NTM 28 26 1200kv motor on my spit it flys great with a 9X6 or 8X6 prop! I typically use a 1800 mAh battery and a 25A ESC.
