I had been using pica sim to teach people how to fly but a friend told me about this one and I would say it is comparable to RF8 in the graphics department. The physics are spot on. There are quite a few bugs I have not had one effect me while I am flying it is just somewhat difficult to setup. I enjoy flying this sim unlike pica sim where I could feel the physics and graphics lacking.

I'm in the same boat on it being very good on physics and free to boot. I don't use other sims anymore ... unless I want to compare them. I don't run into bugs. If you hit some, report them to the developer. The response is pretty good there.

Just started experimenting with SeligSIM. I fly mainly warbirds. I notice that the three I've opened and flown (Corsair, FW190, Spitfire) all climb significantly under neutral controls and medium throttle. Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe an adjustment to CG in a copy of the models would help. Before I invest too much time changing things, I am interested if what I am experiencing is normal.

Thanks!

I test flew the stock Hangar 9 Spitfire. It does not climb w/ mid throttle. Use the Data Monitor to see that at runtime your elevator deflection is in fact 0.9 deg. At mid throttle it needs no trim once the flaps are up and gear is up.
