In addition to building a Twin Sparrow into a dragon with my daughter (https://forum.flitetest.com/index.php?threads/father-daughter-flying-dragon.61406/#post-527694) I also started a build of my own today of a Simple Scout.
It’s going pretty well - can’t wait for the electronics to arrive.
I’m a newbie so I’m sure this will be the first of several models of the scout.
With that in mind I decided to make a modification and keep track of it for improvements over the various builds.
Basically I’m getting rid of the poster board and using the rolling technique I saw on the Corsair video to make the turtle deck out of foam.
Can definitely see where there’s room for improvement - need to take off less in some places but I kept some measurements so I think next time I can get it a bit closer.
For my first full build and an on the fly modification I’m pretty happy though.
