Well, I haven’t flown in close to 2 years. Having kids kinda limits your social ( flying ) life. Now my boys are in daycare, I have a little bit of time.
Took my old bloody wonder out for a few batteries to knock the dust off. I’m surprised it’s survived in my Texas heat garage for 2 years. Charged a lipo, plugged it in, and was ready to go. Put 4 batteries through it and crashed on my final landing. Unrepairable landing 🤣.
So now I’m making a no plans power glider, wingspan is going to be about 90-ish inches overall. I’m going to get some arrow shafts and make a tail boom, never done that before so we’ll see how it goes.
Here’s what I have so far, and no, I’m not gonna have that extreme dihedral.
