I built and flew the Tiny Trainer and currently flying the Simple Cub. I had the left overs (5 gram servos) from the Tiny Trainer and thought about putting them into something more advanced.

In my honest opinion, I wouldn’t build anything larger than the bushwhacker for the same style of flying with the regular 9 grams servos. I think they are near their limit on the bushwhacker.
With 5-gram servos I would not even use them on any plane with a motor larger than the f-pack. They just don’t have enough torque and would strip out.
However you can build the bushwacker now to kill some time and put electronics in it later or build something designed to use 5-gram servos.
Thanks for of all of the suggestions. The Bushwacker is built, I'll wait to put in the 9g servos, just checked out the Shrubmaster, going to build in the meanwhile.
