I’m scratch-building a semi-scale 10-ft-wingspan electric B-25, primarily out of Readi-board foamboard. Obviously my plane is going to have a generous amount of surface area, so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for paint brands that I could get in generous quantities for a reasonable price? I plan to cover the airframe in oil-based Minwax Polyurethane clear coat prior to painting.
Spray paint is preferred. My second choice would be brush painting. And I have no airbrush nor the accessories nor experience, though I may consider it if it proves to be the most economical option and can be learned fairly quickly.
