Power filter for FPV

Hi guys,

Looking for a little advice on power filters for FPV as I am getting ready to wire and build my first setup. I watched the ibcrazy video where he discuses his config, where he speaks of a power filter:

Just curious of other FPV-ers...do you use a power filter? If so, what brand? I found this on ebay:

Would that work? Does it matter what setup you plan on running(I'm planning on a Versa wing build, with a single battery on aircraft setup to power plane/video transmitter/camera), or is one pretty much always required with a spinning propeller involved with the single battery config?

Any time you are running a single battery setup you "should" run a power filter. (It is ok not to but when the motor is running it will distort your video). I would suggest this one

It is made by a friend of mine and works fantastic. It is also super small and connects directly to servo plugs. Have fun and good luck.

you can make one yourself. as much turns around a ferrite coil as you can with a 25V 4400uf cap, and it will remove noise from about any setup. and I filter between the battery and the FPV equipment.
