Remotely Controllable Relay Switch

ELRS receivers have an interesting option of setting one of the PWM outputs to Mode=binary. That’s just high/low voltage. I connected that to the base pin of a transistor to make a tiny relay. I used that to “press the button” on a cheap LED controller to switch between light show modes remotely. I know I can just buy a better controller like the MudLED, but when I saw the ELRS option and I already had all the parts on hand, I had to try it.

I have had nothing but great luck buying from Aliexpress, just want to make sure what you order you don`t need right away, somethings do ship relatively fast I give them a. (y)

Unfortunately there aren't many if any options carried by my normal providers. I try to support my locals first, RMRC, BuddyRC, Flite Test, then branch out from there.

Yeah, i like too support small businesses instead of Amazon. I have been ordering drone parts on bulk from AliExpress and have had pretty good luck.....But I think the good prices are going to come to an end soon..... I know for good prices Speedy FPV is good and their customer support is great!

I made my electric push mower into remote control using 4 of these pwm relays. Well, it took 8, half were bad from the package. But of those that worked, all still do 3 years later, though the trigger point of some seems to wander.
