Spektrum s120

Hi,
I have been trying to charge Spektrum smart batteries with a Spektrum smart charger.
There is a white light before plugging in the battery which starts flashing purple (two flashes) but then alternates between solid white and flashing purple. I have tried two of my 850mah batteries and different power supplies but always get the same result, I leave the batteries on charge for hours but they don’t charge!

with my spektrum smart batteries i just plug in the balance lead anyway to ensure a good charge.
i would give that a try and see if it does anything.

The S120 requires a balance plug from a 2S, or 3S Spektrum Smart battery to work properly. (Edit: Except when charging 6/7 cell NiMH)

It’s sold as a kit
You are correct. It is sold as a kit. That G2 battery uses a single 3-wire charge/balance plug, and it SHOULD charge.

It may be below the minimum voltage to be recognized by the charger. Do you have a cell checker so you can check each cell voltage?

I have found no information about what the purple/white LED code is, yet.
White, on.
1 purple, under 25%.
2 purple, 25%-75%.
3 purple, 76%-99%.
Green, full.
Red, error.

You do need a usb charger block that supplies 20 watts, or more.

EDIT: It's possible that it needs an update.
Normally, a Red/Green/Blue LED code means it needs an update, but you can check here ---> Smart Charger Updates
