Turnigy i6

Hi hope someone can help, I have a bait boat which I use with turnigy i6 for some unknown reason turnigy has problems.
When I turn on the screen says
" Warning place all switches up and power down "
I have replaced gimbles, no difference, at moment I have disconnected all switches still the same.
If I reconnect everything should this solve the problem or is the unit dead?

That is a safety feature, with planes, you put low rates on the default switch position. This keeps you from taking off in high rates. All of the switches should be either up (away from you) OR down.
