Whale Skeletons?

In the DIY Monster P-38 article, when Josh calls Peter over, he steps over some kind of rack, whale skeleton looking rigs on the floor.

What are they? They look like foam core raised platform tracks... Just curious!

I'm betting these are open "gates" for indoor fpv racing. I've seen some larger variations used outdoors with LEDs to set up FPV courses.

On Edit: I'm about 100% on this now. If you look at the last one to the right it looks like a full hoop. I expect they are running micro multis with FPV indoors.

At first glance I thought it could have been one of Peter's new designs - a flying snake.
