Yep, and not very strong, now it doesn’t sag at all and is a lot strongerThe Guinea Pig was one of my first planes to build and I decided to add a ton of wood reinforcement to the wing so there's no sagging in it. I can see that with just a foam spar it would be pretty saggy though.
Awesome!Motors and escs are in, using rulers to simulate 12” props View attachment 192924 View attachment 192925 View attachment 192926 (I changed the Esc connectors to xt60 which is what I use not the deans style of whatever)
StandardGreat progress! What size servo are you using for the nose gear - a 9 gram?

After I get it to fly I’ll try something like that, I would like to have a door that can closeOn my standard size Guinea, I found that 9g servos fit well on the bottom of the cargo area with the body of the servo protruding outward into the wheel pants area of the rear wheels. It keeps the servos out of the way of anything dropping. I used fairly long servo arms connected to a U-shaped length of wire that wraps under the outside of the cargo door through a bit of coffee stirrer. The servos are synchronized in the transmitter and uses 2 separate channels to ensure they track the same. The coffee stirrer allows the U-shaped wire to rotate inside when the door actuates. It also adds additional support to the door.
