I have soooooo many almost finished projects. This list is the top among them. Most are missing electronics. Motors &/or servos. Some need a small fix and a maiden attempt.

While I doubt I will get all of there finished, there are a few that I want to get back to finish.
I have the FDM uproar V1 in foam. As it has been almost done for a short while looking for a flight.

Then I want to go back to some of my first designs... See if I can use what I know now, and the pilot skills I have learned to see these projects to success.

Right... That was the reason. I will get back in a few. Almost done with the uproar

With a steady and slow plodding. (A servo here, a control horn and rod there...) I found myself with a plane I have long been inspired to design and build. It is a DTFB version of Tower Hobbies Uproar V1. I proudly call it the FDM - Riot.

It came down in one piece and will fly again soon.
1st project Finished, and Maidened.

Finishing the Clurichaun

You said to finish projects started.
A while back I started making a foam board Leprechaun, after seeing Fitz Walker's article and John woodfields videos. I also wanted to see how far I can push foam. I lovingly call the Chluricaun.

I stopped at the elevator.

Finally inserted the servo, and mounted the elevator.
Last is to mount the wing to the Fuselage.


Yes there were/are plans... Not they aren't ready. They need verification and final reviews

Dude! that looks absolutely amazing & ya did out of foam. I have a couple of balsa large FF based planes that size & they R by far my best go to planes. Can't wait till U get 'er flying, I'm sure you'll will enjoy it very much. BTW, what U used to cover it with?

I used the press n seal Saran wrap, on Super77 sprayed on the Fuselage, and red translucent traditional Monocote type cover.

AF-X1
While digging up some foam for a follow up project, I found an OLD project where I had sprayed the plans of my first design onto foam. I had intended to give my design another attempt. But there it sat.. for YEARS

So I took a relaxing night of TV watching and turned it into part cutting and TV watching.
I am talking about my FDM AF-X1. (2016) now I believe this mounting was done in 2019 for the FTFC19 Fantasy design Build Challenge.

Here is the goal, and the progress so far

I used the press n seal Saran wrap, on Super77 sprayed on the Fuselage, and red translucent traditional Monocote type cover.


No Way! Press & seal & translucent iron on. That is too cool & innovative.
